1. The thing people don't seem to appreciate about the ice core data is that GHG levels rise after initial warming

The initial warming, likely due to “Milankovitch Cycles” appears to be followed by an increase of Greenhouse Gas levels, which leads to more warming, in a positive feedback. So, where do those GHG’s come from? I think we’re finding out.

They come from wildfires, and from permafrost outgassing… and multiple other natural sources.

So, stopping (and reversing) our emissions may not be sufficient. We may have accidentally awoken a giant.
