I am submitting my first real proposal today and I am freaking out! [View all]

Been "freelancing" for years off & on. Doing websites, logos, a little design, some desktop publishing, webcopy, etc I have also done some basic admin gigs to help snall local biz get their files in order, etc.

THIS is a new Non-Profit Sports League that will be promoting all around the region and doing outreach with other leagues in Ca and NV, maybe even more.

Since they are just starting up, they don't really have much of a budget. I really enjoy the guys that started the org, and I want to be a part of this as it grows. We talked about definitely getting onboard with grants, so that way I would have something resembling a salary.

So this proposal is done on a "gig" basis for the specifics that we talked about that need to be done to get things up and running. I definitely low-balled, but I want the gig and I am willing to "pitch-in" some "volunteer" time to get this off the ground.

The guy is taking a league that is already in place and expanding it - He did a trial-run by having a Fall Softball League and it was a huge hit...people are already contacting him about Spring Training and signups. So there is a buzz and lots of potential for growth.

Any input? If anyone wants to read the proposal (message me) or thinks I should post it here, let me know.
