Today I got a letter from a company that claims to extend auto service contracts..It is .".A SCAM " [View all]

....................................................Auto Assure LLC.....................A scam..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a letter, Presorted Standard Postage...looking official..titled, ""Vehicle Notification Department

The letter warns if you fail to respond, then you will lose your "vehicle service contract"..(whatever that is)

In very small print...(smallest in the later) it says the offer is from...Auto Assure LLC
On the back of the letter, at the bottom it states in very small print.."...This is an advertisement to obtain coverage. Auto Assure is located at 6400 Pinecrest Drive, Plano Texas Suite 400..zip 75034 - 2959

Consequently, I researched this company at the Better Business Bureau, and at Scam sites that google connects to. I saw two different kinds of responses to this company..Glowing tributes saying it was a great company. And complaints that say the company did not follow through in covering repairs.

The extended coverage that the company offers, costs between $3000 and $4000. They send people letters, and then they call you endlessly. The company itself..Auto Assure LLC, only sells this so called service contract. It does not, repeat does not service a car, if the car breaks down That is left to another company. I read a number of complaints on how the company is a scam, It took over two hours of research to come up with this info.

Here is a Better Business Bureau link on complaints..you must scroll down to those that give information, but the negative ones are extremely informative. And some of these complaints are very recent. Some are blank, but if you read the ones with narrative they are damning against this company. The complaints against this company with details, start about the 5th one down and are from August 2018. The company responds but with mostly the same response. Some complaints are very long.
