I don't think it will work either. I hope it doesn't. But I don't doubt that there are some who would like to create friction between Kerry and Obama so as to isolate and more easily maneuver Obama into committing US forces. He's managed to put together a strong foreign policy team and it stands to reason that the out-of-favor bellicose faction would be looking for ways to weaken it.
