8. not meaning to overlook Obama's foreign policy successes this term

In fact, that he and Kerry have gotten things done in the Middle East is progress. Just noting that the GOP will stop at nothing to give Obama and his administration a hard time (i.e. cabinet appointees and issues like gun control, immigration, voting rights, climate change, etc).

IDK how the State Dept. works, other than that it was listed somewhere as the best place to work (or best jobs in DC).
