Clinton to make first stop in Columbus as presumptive Democratic nominee [View all]

Hillary Clinton will talk about the economy Tuesday during her first visit to Columbus as the presumptive Democratic nominee for president.

The event is slated for 11:30 a.m. at the Construction Arts & Auto Technology building, Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center, 630 Cleveland Ave.

The former secretary of state's campaign said "She will discuss her vision for an America that is stronger together and her commitment to build an economy that works for everyone."

The issue-oriented talk in Ohio's largest city will be more like the one she planned for Cleveland last week before she shifted gears to concentrate on the Orlando mass shooting the previous day, campaign officials said.
