I've seen some people here make the statement that Joe Biden's role was nearly ceremonial, and meaningless. But anybody who knows anything about Joe also knows that he was the point man on a lot of Obama's foreign policy meetings, and domestic policy initiatives with Congress. They worked together closely, and it shows.

It's unclear to me what the motive is of anyone who wants to denigrate and marginalize his role in this administration's successes. But it was certainly and demonstrably more than one that was merely "ceremonial". Obviously, anyone who says such things is just being an asshole.
