11. I wouldn't burden the president and vp with such an enormous task at this time.

I truly believe it is up to the community to reach out and communicate grievances and desires. We still have a mighty hangover from the Civil War. Coping with that mess and trying to put racism behind us is a heavy load. If one is black and gay, well then, God bless you.

We have deep concerns that need tending. I hope the LGBT community will help with women's rights which are constantly under attack as well as gun laws, immigration problems, and income inequality. These issues are at a critical stage and we need all hands on deck.

Thanks for the thank you's though.
