Barack Obama

he's done better than I expected, in 08 I figured the next president was either going to be black or female and the rightwing loons would go batshit crazy. I voted for Hillary in my primary but it was a difficult vote for me because of her Iraq vote, the only reservation I had about Obama was I didn't think he had enough experience to handle the gop. I thought he had plenty of experience to be president so I didn't hesitate a minute to help campaign for him because I'm not insane I did vote for him. In retrospect, I think Obama handled the gop just fine, I don't get the anger that he should have stood up to them, what makes people think he hasn't stood up against the rightwing loons? He's a cool guy, he's not going to yell and carry on like a rabid badger. He got stuff done inspite of the worst treatment of a president I've ever seen.
And not that this makes any difference at all but I adore Michelle Obama, I think she is a terrific 1st lady.
