... was a strip drawn by Aaron McGruder featuring a diverse (really diverse) mostly African-American cast of characters. McGruder was so good, witty and intelligent and well-drawn, and I really miss him. Every so often Alcarez does a little homage called The Beandocks -- usually with his guy emailing 1stBlackPrez.

I get the Los Angeles Times, hence their funny-papers, but mostly these days I go straight to Yahoo.com/comics.
