It will eliminate many of the intolerable deficiencies of the current system but it also will create new problems for many.
It's not a perfect plan and you will hear a lot about negative consequences of the changes.

There is an interesting discussion about this on reddit with some reasonable sounding worries about the future effects.

So be prepared for an extensive breaking in period and a lot of proposals for adjusting the rules in the near future.
I hope it ends up evolving into true single payer healthcare and eliminates the unnecessary burden on employers to provide it.
