Were you able to get any assistance from unemployment insurance for your Cobra payments? Six years ago I was unemployed when my company folded.

I was paying Cobra for several months when a friend told me I could apply for assistance. I never heard of this. They base it on your financial status. I thought yeah right, they'll say I am just fine. I almost didn't apply, thought it was to late. Low and behold they reimbursed me. I ended up paying only one month of Cobra when I got a job. My new company luckily put me on a plan after 30 days.

I am so glad that the exchanges will help you SKP! Obamacare~
