Democratic candidates/nominee is likely to be-
Northam-D) former Governor seeking a non consecutive 2nd term like McAuliffe. Unlike McAuliffe, Northam is likely to win due to the fact Northam is more popular than McAuliffe.
Herring-D) former 2 term state Attorney General.
Mayor of large populated cities in VA.
Alexander-D) Mayor of Norfolk
Stoney-D) Mayor of Richmond
Both Alexander and Stoney will be the 2nd black governors of VA, right after Wilder-D.
