She is the first to announce to run for the House seat. There are 2 other women, both from the state legislature already mentioned. Gray has the advantage as the only one who has won state wide. Though she actually has less real experience than the other two, being lt governor may be a great position to run from.

She is from a Vermont political family and had a lot of support from former governor Madeline Kunin, though Kesha Ram has had Kunin's support too. Though I do not know if it is accurate, a few people on local boards said she has support from Leahy. Given that Scott is not running, she easily beat her Republican opponent when she ran for lt governor.

Any of the three women mentioned would be great choices.
