I've been using edmx and Linq to Sql. Now basically I just want to create objects that represent the needs of the organization. So today I just created a project that each solution I create shares, containing business objects (orders, customers, etc) interfaces and classes. When an object is updated in one, all the other solutions must play along.

What I'm wondering is, is what I've done considered a rudimentary tier? just placing those objects into a shared project and naming it Logic Layer?

I use MVC but I am no really a network architect.

Later on, if anyone else is interested in using those objects, I can share them using WCF.

Thanks for articulating what's happening, I have trouble doing that myself.
