That they do not like the stinky, strong smell of cannabis. I had to store some high turpine-laden hemp crop in an emergency, hard freeze coming had to harvest all at once, so I chose a mouse infested cabin on the property. The smell drove the mice out of the place overnight. I was impressed, I thought they'd try to eat it.

I have never tried to use any hemp intentionally for this but it was an interesting thing. The deer stopped eating it early in the year so I can imagine other animals were repelled by it.
