4. I just finished using a super strong electro-magnet at 60hz. I think that will be enough

for what I had. The drive and disks rattled all over the place. Usually I just use a program to remove all the data, but this drive was too far gone. I never had a drive crash like this one did. Just all of a sudden, no diagnostic warnings or anything.
