6. I had that problem with an HP Color Laser

I had that problem with my laptop and desktop trying to print wirelessly to the HP. HP support fixed it fairly quickly after lots of trial and error, but I had to let them connect to the computers. They fooled around with printer DNS settings. When I got a new desktop, I made sure not to have any printer software installed, and the printer works flawlessly. I'm convinced it's HP software that messes things up. (All computers are Windows 10.)
