11. I think it's coming down to proxy settings

Today, Firefox is working wonderfully well. It uses "use system proxy settings".

Opera has no such choice. It's auto-detect or configure your own.
eTrade the same, auto-detect or specify, and it asks every bootup.

Lunascape is working fine and has no proxy choices, so it's auto-detect or system.

And that default is set in Internet Explorer, and it is auto-detect. So why won't Opera
pick up on that?
