This is a combined Computer/DVR issue. [View all]

A day or two ago, Mozilla did an update on my system and everything began to run slowly. I didn't connect the problem right away to the Mozilla update so I may have made the situation worse when I responded with a file and registry cleanup using ccleaner. Everything was working fine last night, but this morning Mozilla won't let me connect to my DVR. Tried Google Chrome, but I learned that you don't even have the option to enable NAPI on Google Chrome.

I was using an autonat for my DVR (which was sort of forced on me when I purchased a new DVR - many of these things turn out to be DIY projects even when you get help). The process use to be resolved by granting Permissions in Firefox, but, I understand, that is no longer available. I possibly closed that door when Mozilla updated itself.

I suspect I need to figure out how to port forward using the new DVR in order to access video through the LAN. It was something I was avoiding because it required relearning a whole new DVR system.

So quick questions: Is anyone familiar with a browser that can poke a hole to access autonat through WAN?

If not, refresh my memory on port forwarding for LAN. If I recall, I need to get IPscanner, figure out which address is available for the DVR and port forward through the router. Then, access the address through the url. Right?
