2. Discounting the polls

The "pros" in the campaign office where I'm volunteering criticize the polls when they're negative but are all a-twitter when they're positive. It actually makes me a little uncomfortable. Nonetheless, I know how polls can be manipulated and just flat-out wrong. So I, too, will not be despondent and will continue to help the campaign until all the votes are cast.
