Years ago, when I lived down in Vancouver, I volunteered for two years at the Washington State School for the Deaf, just down the street from The School for the Blind. We often held events for both schools together. There is so much love and support between the two schools. This is just heartbreaking to hear that ONE unglued person can cause so much fear in such an already vulnerable community.
