MTG was not shown a warm welcome in Albemarle County, Virginia today [View all]

I think her bullshit tweet's video drives home how unwelcome she was. I sure didn't see anyone who looked scared or violent.

Here is a report from a local TV station

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - People gathered in front of the Albemarle County Office Building on 5th Street in Charlottesville to protest before John McGuire and Marjorie Taylor Greene’s campaign rally.

Protestors said they believe McGuire and Greene are bad for the country’s democracy.

Some people held signs advocating for transgender rights while others advocated for voting blue in this coming election cycle.

“I’m protesting against the extreme right. I’m protesting against the rise of Christian nationalism and white supremacy,” said Albemarle County resident Olivia Hadley. “And I think that it’s our job to work together as a community and to love one another. And this is the absolute antithesis of that.”
