4. I suspect that H-E-B's management knows something MAGA doesn't

H-E-B’s management realizes that the days of English-speaking only Euro-American dominance are over in Texas despite the death-grip by the Texas Republican Party on the state government. Demographically, Euro-Americans are no longer a majority but a plurality. And this shift happened in large part through natural increase, with Texas-citizen parents making Latino or part-Latino babies. (14th Amendment, y’all!). Racists may rail east of the Missippi River and south of the Mason-Dixon Line, but this is a fact, and H-E-B’s management his decided to work with reality, not with MAGA fantasy.
