and as a result it is crumbling. I live in NYC and the subways and roads are in such poor condition ridership on the subways is down and people allot more time for the commute. When you add up the costs of lost productivity it gets costly. This is due to Rethuglicans starving investments, i.e McConnel actively working against Obama. We truly need good leadership (Democrats) who put people and Country first.
