One really great way to compromise is to just use the new name. No pronouns necessary. If she went from Christine to Charles. Just say, “Charles, what’s the answer?” Charles did you understand the question. Why did you forget your homework? So many ways to be respectful and keep the beliefs. I guess since I work with a transgender who has been so incredibly patient with us. I find this whole situation very easy.
