Just moments ago, Billy Joel shared some sad news regarding his health and upcoming concert series in New York City.

In a statement shared on Facebook by the 73-year-old singer on Sunday, Dec. 18, Joel revealed that the live performance he had scheduled for tomorrow at Madison Square Garden had been postponed until June of next year due to a viral infection he's battling.

"I’m disappointed to share that I’m under doctor’s orders for vocal rest due to a viral infection so unfortunately, I must postpone my Monday, December 19th concert at Madison Square Garden to June," he wrote.
