as they should (MO just finally declared a stay at home order, effective yesterday (Monday), while the two big cities (maybe Springfield MO too) had been following stay at home orders for about two weeks).

Two weeks! Thank god. I haven't been out of the house and don't plan on it either. I'm listening to the med. experts, and heeding their advice.

MO (the rest of the state) and the suburbs finally joined the big population centers in shutting down. A gross mistake.

The county now (in the STLMO area) now has about 4 times the number of CV-positive people. Four times! I expect it to get worse too, being that the rest of the state of MO and suburbs finally joined the cities in shutting down non-essential businesses.

Sadly, it'll take probably (maybe less) two weeks at least to gauge its effectiveness. I suspect it's going to be sad. I hope not. There are large stretches of open spaces in MO, but that means that there are fewer businesses attended by more people (since the businesses are few and far between).

Be safe.
