The right thing. It was hard to stand out there for that length of time. When I arrived home, I sat down in a chair and immediately fell asleep for almost 2 hours.

There were very kind people walking around with cold ice water, giving it away. All the people I met there were interesting, well spoken, and had deep concerns. I spoke to quite a variety of people, and there was one guy that I would consider very much at the level of knowledge that DU-ers have.

Practically everything I said to the rest of them was new. None of us should take for granted the knowledge we gain by coming to this forum every day to read, discuss, and critique what is going on. We are way, way ahead of the rest of the citizenry in terms of knowledge.

It was on Bloomfield Avenue. If you start at the intersection where the Wells Fargo is and go east, both sides of the street were packed with people. Essex County College was close to where I was.

Yes, we’re somewhat neighbors. 😀
