Montana sets daily record with 504 new COVID-19 cases [View all]

Montana posted a new daily high of 504 COVID-19 cases Tuesday, pushing the state over the 15,000 mark and topping the previous record of 497 on Oct. 2.

That number was originally reported as 501 cases, but it is not unusual for those numbers to fluctuate.

The state has added 2,276 since Oct. 1. The first case of COVID-19 in Montana was reported March 11. It was early June until 500 cases were reached .

Large gains were seen regionally in Glacier County, which reported 58 new cases, Cascade County added 20, Hill had 18, Toole reported 13 and Blaine added 11.
