1. I received his book "Ebola" yesterday

Its a cut out of "Spillover" which I am still waiting to get.

it was a very informative read, if dated ( up to 2014). it was mostly about how they identified bats as the host reservoirs for various viruses. Covid never mentioned

the writer has a very casual/conversant style which is good for all the heady science stuff. I guess all sorts of scientists come to visit him when they are fishing in Montana
