1. At some point before 2008, my real estate taxes more than tripled in ONE bill. They have gone up

many times since, almost every year in fact. Why the hell were real estate taxes from that bonanza of artificially inflated real estates taxes not set aside for a rainy day or special need? And wasn't the lottery supposed to pay for schools?

I'm all in favor of public spending, but we don't have to spend every cent we take in and then some every damn year.
