2. I love the Pops too--I've been a fan since the days of Arthur Fiedler!

When I was poor, I used to go to their rehearsals. It was cheap, sometimes the guy at the door would let us in for free (that was a long time ago). For the most part, those musicians were so professional that Maestro Fiedler never had to stop and correct them. If they had a singer or an accompanist, they'd sometimes stop to articulate their requirements, but for the most part those rehearsals were the same as the performances, except the orchestra wasn't dressed up.
