Shrub had to cancel Iowa event due to flooded runway [View all]

Just saw this

Flights in or out of Des Moines have been canceled, delayed or redirected because one of the runways flooded after heavy rain, airport officials said.

It is unclear when flights will resume, but airport officials said they hope operations will be up and running by early Saturday evening.

Former President George W. Bush was scheduled to return to Iowa and speak at a nonprofit fundraiser at the Iowa Events Center on Saturday night.

The event, a dinner for the Christian group Trailhead International Builders, which raises money to build church and community centers in developing countries, was supposed to start at 6 p.m.

I'm sorry to hear about all the disruption to everyone else whose travel plans were disrupted due to this flooding.

Shrub, on the other hand? Fuck that guy. He may not be the worst President ever anymore given who the fuck is squatting in the White House now, but that doesn't absolve him by any means.
