Most of which have been made over the years, but ignored since we were all doing "OK".

Sneer at "white privilege all you want, but the simple fact remains that a lot of us are simply smacked in the face with an unsettled world that confuses us.

We agree that women should have equal opportunity, but when we are faced with the musical chairs of the decline of "good" jobs, just what are we supposed to do? When we see law, veterinary, and medical schools graduating more women than men, how do we see ourselves as "privileged"? And then throw race in the mix...

College? Hell, most bus driving jobs are going to women now to fill quotas now that the racial quotas are filled. And has anyone noticed how few men are local news reporters lately?

Anyway, it was all cool while we were expanding and there were opportunities for everyone. And it was even cooler for coal miners and steel workers before they saw their industries changing. Not so now.

There's no point bringing Sanders into this. He had no real solutions, and barely admitted there's a problem. Clinton didn't do much better, but she had some ideas that were buried under the email talk.

The simple truth is that work, and personal worth, is disappearing before our eyes. Even cab driver and pizza delivery work is going away.

And no one has a solution.
