The other JD is my MVP Steph. JD Scholten is a 44 year old state Rep in Iowa, who got a call over Independence Day weekend about a month ago now, to pitch for his old baseball team that he had not pitched for in over 17 years. They needed him in a couple hours. He showed up. He won the game and since then - including last night - he has been undefeated (4 and 0). Sub three ERA. He might be the best pitcher in this league in Iowa - a minor league team. And if you need an alternative to JD Vance - a true populist - JD Scholten I think is the JD America needs to hear more from.
