... and now RAGBRAI has been taken over by $1000+ bikes and private chefs. It used to be a fun thing in '79 and the 80s and 90s. People in small towns would provide camping and meals. Now it's an excuse to act like ingrates on two wheels. And block traffic as if it were a Critical Mass protest in downtown Chicago.
