Besides, rich white folk in Connecticut are hardly oppressed or endangered.

I'm getting tired of trying to explain to people that complain that they're "being taxed to death to support inner-city crackheads" that you can't claim to be oppressed while being being free to live your life; able to vote; and living in a $1M home, making $250K/year and driving a Maybach. (I unfortunately have no delusions that anybody is winning my hometown except Tom Foley.)

I don't drive, live off investments/trusts/family-wealth, and do live in a $1.2M house. I also don't complain about my taxes because taxes are the cost of not living in a shithole like Sam "Tax Destroyer" Brownback has turned Kansas into.
