3. Sometimes I am so glad I live in New Haven. The closest bear to us was reported on the Yale Golf Course a few blocks

from our house, but we used to walk on that beautiful golf course until Yale informed us we would have to buy a membership to walk there. We never bothered anybody and always paused when a golfer was setting up a tee.
