is also facing the same problem. They are looking at their options... and a tree fell on their neighbors home during the last storm... many many old redwoods and pines were knocked down by high winds... they haven't had power in over a week and it might be another 2 to 4 weeks to get power back. And then the house might easily fall into the creek behind their home. A year ago they tried to line the edge of the creek with large boulders to keep it from the retaining wall... helped but didn't stop the problem.
