Gambling has completely changed sports. They are entirely about wagering. The amount wagered is staggering, and gambling ruins lives. IMO.

I would vote to ban all sports gambling.

The (true) story goes that some physicists had a conference in Las Vegas, which welcomed them.

Until.

Until Las Vegas saw that they were too smart to gamble because the house always takes 10% or so off the top, making it a losing proposition on average. They were "banned" from having further conventions in the city.
