Women who phone in are panicking. One of the most common questions the staff is fielding over the phone is this: “Is it legal for me to come to California for my abortion?” This is monstrous — of COURSE it is — but the fanatics in red states are trying to trap women and make them afraid to take a step out of line.

Edited to add: not sure where you are, but the Los Angeles Times is a great regional newspaper, and California is a pretty big region. They do cover the nation and world as well, and whenever they decide to go in-depth they are well worth the read.
