today. Most of the families consisted of 5 or more individuals. For me there were two bright spots. The Hirsch Charter Academy grades K-5 brought their school bus and seven families to pick up a food box. The second bright spot is that one teacher picked up a food box for a family of 7 that attend the school. The family came to the food bank last month and all seven members now have COVID19. I am sad of course that a family has the virus but what makes me happy is it shows how teachers truly go that extra mile for their students.
