Mom used to enjoy watching So You Want To Be A Millionaire, so I saw plenty of episodes whenever I visited her. I liked the trivia quiz aspect of the show, but it drove me CRAZY how the contestants talked through their thought processes, especially on easy questions. Just say an answer! I don’t care how you know it, I don’t care how uncertain you are, JUST SAY AN ANSWER!!! They all did it, though, so I’m sure they were coached to do so.

If I’d ever done a show like that, I probably would have gotten the heave ho very quickly if I’d promptly answered the questions without any nonsensical blather.
