5. I agree, I don't like it when screenwriters change the story too much

I can see the need to adapt certain elements for film or TV, but when the story is significantly altered, it really bugs me, and I have a hard time ignoring the discrepancies. Especially when it's a great original work that gets defiled. Changing the ending to a Stephen King novel seems sacrilegious to me. And Thomas Harris, don't even get me started with what they did to Hannibal.

I stopped watching The Walking Dead when it diverged from the graphic novel story line, which was so good to begin with. Too frustrating, I just couldn't watch it anymore.
