yes, they glide down from the canopy to the foliage around water to find a mate and breed. several times a year they have these explosive breeding events which are amazing to see.

this photo, however, is neither action-packed nor riveting. it's just a gliding leaf frog sitting on a leaf. but, trust me, they are an interesting species....google Agalychnis spurrelli if you don't believe me.
