About 20 years ago a club band let me play on their drums during their intermission . To my second surprise, two of the five joined me. I was rusty, but they worked with me. So I bought them drinks (even though they ate and drank for free). Some of my non-musical friends who never heard me play were stunned.
Years ago I wanted to arrange a few Schubert pieces for electric guitar, piano, and drums. But like everything else, life takes over and projects fall by the wayside.
PS: And exactly four months prior to untimely Karen's poor demise, we lost Glenn Gould as well.
