... I have had only two or three violins, added two or three pieces of other percussion to the Tabla - mridangam, or dholak, maybe a idiophone like aghatam and khanjari, used the sitar more, liked the guitar and I think the bass I saw in the booth should have been more prominent.

I get it: this is a network/studio orchestra. It was a bit of a disappointment that all those strings were playing the same melody piece over and over, almost just sawing it out. I looked at the players and it was obvious there were some extremely talented violinists with seriously good instruments. I wish they could have stood a bit instead of being melded into the herd. I would also question the engineer's mic-ing choices.

All that said, it was plenty good and I'll be listening to it more. Thanks for posting it!
