2. This Was At The Time We Met Them

They played the 3 band bills held every Tuesday at the city skating rink each summer for 10 weeks.
They would play a couple times a year, being they were based only about 35 miles away.
For 5 years, we had backstage passes, so we met all kinds of bands.
Everybody in Rufus, including Chaka, were as nice as could be. Most of them even remembered our names each time we saw them.
Seeing Rufus up close made me want a talkbox and I didn't even play guitar yet, nor did I own a keyboard rig
