...the night he died.
Alpine Valley. They opened for Clapton, but then jammed with all the guy from both bands.
With our long drive (over 2 hours), we left 10-15 minutes early.
Woke up the next morning to hear on WGN-TV that he had died.
We just saw him playing about 8 hours before.
